Estee lauder Double wear foundation review

Hey love bugs, so today i will be writing a little review on the Estee Lauder double wear foundation since i have been using it for a while now. Right! First thing first this foundation is gotta to be the best foundation EVEEER! I'm not even exaggerating ;) i mean i have always wanted something to last all day without looking cakey or too heavy and obviously to cover my imperfections, which are on a deep level ha-ha! the only thing i dislike about it is when i wash my face it leaves it feeling a bit sticky like I've just had glue on my face or something, also it might be a bit pricy for some people but trust me it's totally worth it, for a great alternative, I would definitely recommend colour stay by Revlon...I LOVE IT! It’s a drug store version of Estee Lauder. Another thing to bare in mind is that if you have quite dry skin you will need to moisturize heavily otherwise it will make your face flakey and looking very unappealing. However, if you have a oily/ combination it's great for you because it gives a matte finish though you might want to put a good oil control primer e.g. smash box, Mac or Estee Lauder they have one for dry/ combination skin and one for oily/ combination skin, what this will do is basically allow you to apply your foundation flawlessly and keep the shine at bay all day long.  It's very important to prime if you have oily skin to ensure that your make up last longer and look more natural .Nevertheless, if you have a dry skin you can skip this step ;) and just moisturize generously to avoid flakiness and the cakey look..

 I have a really bad habit of buying darker shades because i like looking tanned all year round even though there's hardly any sun

in the UK :( so i bought this foundation in the shade 4N2 Spiced sand 98.. 

TIP: Use a beauty blender/sponge to blend out the foundation i find this gives an absolute flawless finish to the skin. Inspiration

Today’s post is going to be a little be different, just an inspiring thing for all you beautiful people out there. WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL IN OUR OWN SPECIAL WAY. OUR BEAUTY SHOULD START FROM WITHIN NOT HOW WE LOOK AND ACT AROUND PEOPLE FROM THE OUTSIDE. No matter how plain someone may be, if truth and honesty are written across their face, they will be beautiful. We were born the same and will die the same ONLY our act differs either in a good or bad way and sometimes defines who we are as a person. Some may argue that we are not the same but then again our differences should bring us together and separate us.

For Attractive lips, speak words of kindness.

For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.

For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.

For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day.

For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.

As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.” I have highlighted the bit in red for a reason and that is these are the things we should be doing. We need to stop fighting and start loving! like seriously i can't stand people who can't see others achieve and would do anything to bring them down. I have seen, read and heard some horrible comments especially when it comes to YouTube videos and Instagram pictures etc. The questions is why? why can't we support one another? trust me it is not hard its actually more fun and rewarding knowing you've just helped someone to achieve something

Anyone can put the whole of Mac make up counter on their face and look pretty but those who are honest, truthful, supportive , caring, see good in others, non judgmental and always being who they are, they are the beautiful ones indeed. ‘’NO AMOUNT OF MAKE UP CAN MASK AN UGLY HEART’’ (can’t remember who wrote this quote, seen it somewhere so I thought I’ll steal it .Shhhh! don’t tell. ;))                                                                                                                                          

NO one can define beauty; beauty has a deeper meaning than we think.

Oatmeal and Yogurt

Using home-made face/body scrubs can be just as good and effective as the ones we buy from the store if not better, we buy expensive products which can only irritate our skin and make the matter worse. I have tried literally everything to cure my acne even getting a skin peel done, but NO results my skin kept on going all dry and my acne will just appear like a cookie dough :((, however, when i started using home-made daily scrubs and masks i can actually say there have been a huge difference in my skin. Our facial skin is extremely sensitive, we need to be extra careful with what we put on it, and needs special care so when you apply your home-made scrubs make sure you use your middle and ring fingers as they are the weakest and it would be best to use them to scrub in gentle upward/ circular motions avoiding around the eyes and mouth area.

I Use the following facial scrub alongside the Turmeric and lemon mask 1-2 times per week. This oatmeal and yoghurt face scrub is suitable for those with dry and acne prone skin. So,!! to make this scrub you will need the following:

Ingredients2 Tbsp oatmeal

2 Tbsp yoghurt, plain

1 Tbsp almond oil (Skip this ingredient if you have an oily skin)

Directions

Mix all the ingredients to make a paste.

Let mixture sit for a little while around 5/10 minutes.

Massage paste into your skin for 5 minutes.( i keep it on for 20 minutes)

Rinse with warm water, I prefer cold water to close my pores..

Eyebrows Routine

Hi my lovelies, today's post is to show you how I do my eyebrow step by step. Hope you learn how to perfect those pretty eyebrows of yours ;) so let’s get started

Step one- you will need to tweeze and trim your natural eyebrow than brush brows upwards and outwards just to get the hairs together for a better fill.

step two- You'll need to outline your eyebrows lightly from the top to make a shape using a brow pencil, I use Rimmel in dark chocolate at the moment because it's the only pencil I seem to like, some of the brow pencils I've tried before they either too dark or too light for my liking.....

Step three- Fill arch in using light stokes(upward motion) now to fill them in you can use eye shadow or a brow kit which ever one you've got. I use both, but if am in a hurry I would just colour them in with a brown eye shadow quickly. NOTE: this step is where you create your preferred shape e.g. higher arch.

Step four-Brush your brows using a brow brush, I don't have one in particular I just use the one on the Rimmel pencil. This step is important as it gets all the hairs together and when you apply the brow gel it keeps your arch in place.                                         
Step five- Now this is my favourite step...Get a concealer and using a concealer brush apply a straight line just underneath your brows, this will make it look clean and tidy.

Last but not least...Step six- this is the easy step!! You just blend the concealer using a blending brush...THERE YOU HAVE IT. PERFECT BROWS ;))))
